Re-Design of the Peanut Butter Jar

So for another project of mine I was to re-design a bottle/can or jar and I went with the standard Peanut Butter jar.  What I did was make it so there are two lids, one for the top and then another for the bottom.  Because it is always so impossible to get the last of the peanut butter out and your sticking your hands into it and getting all sticky, well no more, here is the solution two lids for easy access.

So I remade the label so no matter which way you are looking at it you can read it, also on the lids it reads "this side Up" and gave this special brand its own name, Upside.

Tradeshow Exhibit

So for another student project we were given some companies based out of San Diego (where I attended college) and do a tradeshow exhibit for that product/service.

I decided to do it on SAIC and their product; The Tsunami Buoy System.  Which is a buoy that tracks tsunami's and sends a signal through satellites to warn whomever is about to get hit and get out.  So the piece below is the full exhibit and then we were tasked to create a touch screen monitor and there is a bigger picture of that as well as the table wrap and one of the bottom side panels.

faux Calvin Klein (underwear) advertisement

for a class assignment I was to come up with a fashion ad that was eye catching and had a common theme.  Such as in magazine's these days you may see a few ads from the same company with the same theme in minds but not the exact same advertisement.

With the help of some friends I was able to shoot the photos myself.

The first two advertisements would generally be in a men's magazine and then the next two would be for women.

Collage of Polaroids

Playing around in Photoshop, I managed to turn a photo into a collage of Polaroids.

I used a picture of me and my brother on one of our many ski trips in Utah and transformed it to look like a collage of polaroids on top of each other, with each polaroid having a small portion of the overall image.  The tutorial was real easy to follow, in creating the effect there is a lot of repetition and this could be used with fun pictures of family and friends or just a solo person.  I'm pretty happy with the results.

Below is the final product as well as a few from the process of creating the effect.
